World_Building_

N.O.R is a dystopian survival game in which you play as an operator working in an isolated radio station, in a world where humans are transforming into giant insectoid creatures. 

Game_Play_

These monsters emit sounds that are inaudible to the human ear, but detectable through specialized equipment. Using complex devices, you must capture the signals of nearby creatures to determine their position and identify their type in order to choose the appropriate defensive maneuver. 

Your only protection is an ultrasonic cannon capable of repelling the creatures as they dangerously approach the station. You must fire at the right location, with the correct power and the proper frequency to drive them away, as they grow more numerous day after day. The game features an endless survival mode: try to last as long as possible and keep track of your personal record. 

Controls_

Press E to interact with an object or zoom in on a document. Once inside an interactive device, hold left mouse click to manipulate dials and controls. The left mouse button is also used to press the ultrasonic cannon’s firing button when activating it.

Duo_Mode_

N.O.R can be played in two-player asymmetric co-op : one player operates the electronic equipment in-game to gather information and take action, while the second player analyzes PDF documents to interpret the received data and guide the decisions. 

Language_

The documents are available in both French and English.
